Project location
Prishtina Mall is a new super-regional mall at the intersection of national road M2 and national road M25 south of downtown Pristina, Kosovo. Due to its favorable location, this new landmark for leisure, entertainment and shopping is easily accessible to residents of Kosovo and other surrounding areas in Southeast Europe.

Project overview
With 115,000 square meters of GLA and parking for over 3,000 cars. Prishtina Mall has a variety of internationally branded anchors, inline tenants, furniture stores, a large cinema, family entertainment center, large food court, dining terrace, many restaurants and entertainment venues, on three and a half levels.

设计意向
购物中心建筑设计的灵感源于沙尔山脉（Sharr Mountain）的轮廓线。引入自然的概念，通过建筑语言来体现山峰、森林、峡谷和流水四种不同的自然元素成为设计的主要方向。通过将具有当地特色的景观元素融入购物中心的内部空间，为访客带来充满情调的购物体验。
Design concept
Public corridors and plazas within the mall are thoughtfully landscaped and filled with abundant natural light, accented with natural materials. The facades are contemporary and dynamic, incorporating the Prishtina Mall's logo colors throughout.
The natural concept became the driving force in the design process. Four distinct elements present themselves in the architectural form. The iconography of the mountain, the forest, the valley and the water.

位于西北角、西侧入口处的标志性灯塔展示出山峰的意向。购物中心的外立面设计极具现代感和节奏感，线条流畅，充满动感，并充分融合了购物中心标志性的四个品牌色彩。
The icon of the mountain can be seen in the focal tower that anchors the building at the northwest corner and western entrance.

由胶合层压梁支撑起的巨大玻璃穹顶覆盖了三个入口景观中庭，呈现出森林的意向，位于北立面的多个斜切绿色中庭入口也强调了这一特征。每个斜切中庭开口的胶合层压梁结构和引入的自然光为室内引入了自然的能量，使建筑更具有通透的开放感，向外可以看到科索沃美丽的地平线。被连续的玻璃天光带环绕的多层中央大厅形成了山谷的意向。彩色艺术墙面与天窗的自然光线互动，表达了以山地和山谷为背景的四季变换。
The image of the forest can be seen in the 3 atrium entrances with their vast glazing draped upon glulam timber frames. The forest iconography is further evidenced in the multiple slices that open up each concourse multiple times on the north facade. The presence of glulam timber framing and natural light at each slice gives great energy to the space and opens up the building to the beautiful horizons of Kosovo.
The valley is seen in the multi-tiered concourses with their continuous bands of clerestory glazing. The art walls that are at the high walls interact with the natural light play of the clerestory and they express the wonder of the ever-changing seasons set upon a backdrop with mountain and valley. The water imagery is set at the west and east entrances by way of engaging active fountains.

西侧和东侧入口处的喷泉引入了水的意向。西侧主入口有一个大型喷泉，激发了商场室内外广场的活力。东侧中庭设置有一个有机形态的喷泉，在宛如山谷一般的室内广场形成了水流的视觉焦点。
The main entrance at the west has an exceptionally large fountain that activates the external and interior piazza. The eastern atrium has an organic shaped fountain that is the internal focal point of the valley-like interior piazza.

普里什蒂纳购物中心拥有高效而优雅的商业布局。其中多个中庭设计各具特色，拥有不同主题。挑高的天花、通透的玻璃穹顶将宜人的自然光带入到中庭及室内全部楼层。公共连廊和广场的景观经过精心设计，并以天然环保材料进行装饰。充满绿植的室内花园以及7,623平方米的餐饮区域可供访客享用美食、欣赏美景、放松心情。
Featured spaces
The main spaces of Prishtina Mall are the west entrance atrium and grand stair that takes the visitors to the ground floor. The east entrance atrium with its grand stair, fountain and vertical transport that carries the visitor to the upper level shops, dining and entertainment establishments. The south entrance atrium court that also takes visitors upwards into the large mall and directs them either north bound or west bound on the loop of circulation. There are the fashion court and its unique skylight, high sky bridge and graceful staircase. There is also a slice court that divides two of the concourse loops and allows visitors to meander through multiple retail neighborhoods.

购物中心内将水景、软饰、绿植有机结合，营造了优美的景观庭院，提供了独特的室内公共互动体验空间。入口中庭的天然木材结构给使用者带来温暖平静的感受，整个商场铺地使用天然石材，弱化了大型项目的体量感。室内的木材装饰、混凝土及绿植给访客带来轻松愉悦的体验，使空间更为人性化。
The Mall is built of natural materials and efficient and light manmade materials. Natural woods and glulam frames have been thoughtfully laid out since the inception of the spatial ideations. Natural stones are used as paving surfaces throughout the mall. The use of wood gives a sense of warmth and calm. The stones utilized breakdown the scale of such a large building and make up many village squares of the superblocks of the internal mall. The use of metal and porcelain panels for the large facades creates scalar mosaics everywhere. The simplicity of the malls thematic colors defines the neighborhoods of the retail loop. Natural wood / exposed concrete and green plants soften the visitors experience and are meant to humanize the spaces.

大量玻璃采光天窗引入不断变化的自然光，以消除封闭感。配合宽敞的人行天桥、艺术墙面装饰，使顾客在购物的同时可随时驻足休憩、欣赏特色景观。
A vast amount of glazing is used to give an ever-changing daylighting experience to eradicate the idea of a totally enclosed mall typology. Skylights are used in multiple ways to define each neighborhood space within this very large building. Large art walls define every zone in the mall. Large bridges let people take pause along the circulation of the concourses. Amenities that accommodate the guests visit are to be used everywhere. The owners are very concerned not only about a visitor's comfort; they are concerned with their digital experience of the visit. Smart systems with media, building systems and simple user conveniences for charging of mobility devices are put into place. Connectivity with the shopping experiences are also put into place with network availabilities.

Prishtina Mall will be EDGE certified. It will become a shopping center with a leading design concept in Southeast Europe, and promote Kosovo as a leisure, entertainment and tourism shopping destination.
