Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), said in an interview with SFC during Singapore International Energy Week 2026 that many countries are giving different responses to this energy crisis. In his view, solar, wind and hydropower as well as electric vehicles are some of the key responses to this crisis.
Fatih Birol said China has a leading role today in the world in terms of solar manufacturing, wind, and electric cars.
