Statement by China Coast Guard Spokesperson
中国海警局新闻发言人姜略表示，10月21日，经中方允许，菲律宾对其非法“坐滩”仁爱礁船只运送生活物资，中国海警对菲船只询问确认并全程监管。中国海警将持续依法在包括仁爱礁在内的南沙群岛及其附近海域开展维权执法活动。
Jiang Lue, spokesperson of the China Coast Guard(CCG), stated that, on October 21, with approval from the Chinese side, the Philippines delivered living necessities to its ship illegally “grounded” at China’s Ren’ai Jiao. The China Coast Guard (CCG) inquired and verified the Philippine vessel conducting the delivery, and monitored the whole process. The CCG will continue to conduct law-enforcement and rights-protection operations in China’s Nansha Qundao and its adjacent waters, including Ren’ai Jiao, in accordance with the law.
