ISD is proud to share that several of our learners recently participated in theCopernicus Olympiad, an esteemed international competition that challenges students worldwide in various scientific disciplines. This year, our students competed in the Natural Sciences category, which tests knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in areas such as biology, chemistry, and physics.
祝贺我校多位学子在哥白尼奥林匹克竞赛中表现卓越！哥白尼奥林匹克竞赛这项国际赛事汇聚全球英才，旨在激发和挑战学生的科学潜力。今年，我们的学生在竞争激烈的自然科学领域参与角逐。这一赛项全面考察学生在生物、化学和物理等核心学科的知识储备、逻辑分析及创新解题能力。

The Copernicus Olympiad, which originated in the United States, is a globally renowned international academic competition. Students from various grade levels compete acrossfour dynamic disciplines: Natural Science, Physics and Astronomy, Entrepreneurship, and Mathematics. It attracts over 25,000 participants in the preliminary round and now draws contestants from 54 countries and counting.
哥白尼奥林匹克竞赛起源于美国，是一项享誉全球的国际学术赛事。不同年级的学生在自然科学、物理与天文学、创业学以及数学等四大热门学科领域中展开角逐。赛事的影响力日益扩大，吸引来自全球54个国家和地区的学生参赛，初赛参与者已超过 25,000人。
The Olympiad is designed to push students beyond rote learning, encouraging them to apply scientific concepts creatively and think critically under pressure. This year’s competition involved an individual written test, challenging students to demonstrate not only their knowledge but also their analytical reasoning and innovative problem-solving skills.
奥赛的核心理念是超越传统的应试教育，鼓励学生创造性地运用科学原理，并在充满挑战的环境中进行批判性思考。今年的比赛通过包含25道选择题的个人笔试题目，全面考察学生的知识深度、分析推理能力和创新思维。
Our learners prepared the Olympiad throughWeekend School sessions, where they engaged in focused practice, collaborative discussions, and innovative approaches to solving complex problems. Their dedication, curiosity, and perseverance were clearly reflected in their outstanding performance.
我校学子此前积极参加学校组织的周末竞赛预备营，为本次奥赛进行了系统、扎实的准备。他们在课程中全身心投入，开展了大量针对性强化训练，积极参与深度协作讨论，并不断探索解决复杂问题的创新方法。正是这份持续的努力、求知的热情与不懈的坚持，最终铸就了他们令人瞩目的优异成绩。
