IT之家 10 月 19 日消息，据游戏媒体 Insider Gaming 今天报道，《沙丘：觉醒》游戏开发商 Funcom 即将开启新一轮重组，准备裁员。
IT之家从原报道了解到，Funcom 工作室 CEO Rui Casais 将在未来离开公司。Scott Junior 将接替他的职位。本次重组的原因在于公司认为《沙丘：觉醒》主要开发工作已结束，因此无法维持开发高峰期所需的人员规模和组织架构。
同时，Funcom 工作室将迎来一段重组期，并缩减组织规模。公司将为所有受影响的员工提供支持，以尊重和透明态度对待每一位同事。
此外，Funcom 仍致力于继续维护《沙丘：觉醒》和《流放者柯南》游戏。
