据英国海上贸易行动办公室收到的报告，也门亚丁湾海域10月17日发生一起针对液化天然气运输船的袭击事件。
报告称，事发地距离亚丁湾沿岸的也门港口城市穆卡拉大约140海里。一艘载有7人的小型快艇驶近一艘液化天然气运输船，并向该船开枪。船上武装安保人员向快艇鸣枪警告，迫使其改变航向。（央视新闻）
