本周早些时候应用商店出现一款假冒 Chrome 的应用之后，有 Reddit 用户反映，在正版 WhatsApp 上方的赞助位置出现了假冒版本的 WhatsApp，该应用下载量已超过 50 万次，截至发稿其商店页面仍在线。
这款假冒应用由名为 Agment Assets sallu 的开发者发布，该开发者目前在商店上没有其他上架内容。其列表使用了与正版相同的图标、截图和文案。
