10月16日，WTO保障措施委员会发布新西兰代表团向其提交的保障措施通报。2026年10月13日，新西兰商业、创新和就业部发布公告称，调查认定铝型材的进口对国内产业造成了损害，但未达到法案[New Zealand Trade Act 2014]所要求的严重损害标准，因此决定不对铝型材实施保障措施，终止保障措施调查。
