路透调查的经济学家此前预期，7-8月GDP将萎缩0.1%。不过该数据仍显示英国经济增长动能有所放缓：6月、7月GDP环比均增长0.4%。
数据公布后，英镑兑美元跳涨0.4%；英国国债（金边债券）整条收益率曲线的收益率下行。
