据中国汽车工业协会整理的海关总署数据显示，8月，汽车商品进出口总额为306.0亿美元（现汇率约合2,055.66亿元人民币），环比下降5.3%，同比增长18.6%：
进口金额27.7亿美元（现汇率约合186.08亿元人民币），环比下降22.4%，同比下降33.5%；
出口金额278.3亿美元（现汇率约合1,869.58亿元人民币），环比下降3.2%，同比增长28.6%。
2026年1-8月，全国汽车商品累计进出口总额为2,276.5亿美元（现汇率约合1.53万亿元人民币），同比增长25.1%：
进口金额255.9亿美元（现汇率约合1,719.1亿元人民币），同比下降16.1%；
出口金额2,020.6亿美元（现汇率约合1.36万亿元人民币），同比增长33.4%。
