IT时代网9月29日消息，由世界先进与恩智浦于2024年9月合资成立的VSMC（VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company），为其位于新加坡淡滨尼的首座12英寸（300mm）晶圆厂举行开业典礼。
开业典礼出席嘉宾包括新加坡贸易与工业部（能源与工业）部长陈诗龙、新加坡经济发展局主席方章文、裕廊集团总裁Poh Chi Chuen，以及台积电等合作伙伴、客户、供应商、行业协会与政府机构代表。
随着建设完成，该晶圆厂已进入风险生产阶段，量产计划于2027年第一季度启动。
VSMC成立于2024年，同年12月举行动土仪式。经过22个月建设，该厂成功产出首批样品批次，良率超过99%。
