《异形：火力精英2》发售仅一个多月，开发商Cold Iron Studios就发生裁员。母公司Enad Global 7于上周晚些时候公布消息，并表示游戏的后续开发与支持将继续。
外媒InsiderGaming称，本轮裁员至少涉及19人。公开记录显示，Cold Iron Studios在裁员前约有50至70名员工。
Enad Global 7表示，此次缩减人员符合原定计划，目的是降低工作室运营成本，使其今后能够持续运营。公司称，Cold Iron Studios仍将专注于《异形：火力精英2》的开发和支持。
截至9月28日，2026年游戏行业已有超过1.1万人因裁员失去工作，涉及144家公司，至少32家工作室关闭。对于《异形：火力精英2》，Enad Global 7表示，游戏的Switch2版目前计划于2027年初推出。
