9月17日，云南统计发布1—8月份全省经济运行情况，其中提到，全省规模以上工业发电量3014.14亿千瓦时，同比增长0.8%。分品种看，火力发电量下降5.3%，水力发电量下降0.6%，风力发电量增长2.5%，太阳能发电量增长18.8%。清洁电力占发电量的比重达87.6%，较上年同期提高0.9个百分点。规模以上工业原煤产量下降14.2%。
