9月14日，小米集团创始人雷军到访宇树科技，在王兴兴陪同下实地参观，现场观看人形机器人展演。期间雷军与人形机器人互动“过招”，他抬脚踹向机器人，机器人后退数步后稳稳保持站立。现场，这款人形机器人还进行了拳击、武术表演。
