研学WCCO｜Yangzhou Young Reporters Visit WCCO To Explore The Mysteries Of SDG 扬州小记者走进WCCO 探寻SDG奥秘

大运河传媒讯 （董明 徐蓉）“中国大运河流经了哪些城市？”“我们该如何实践可持续发展目标（SDG）保护运河？” 8 月 24 日下午，20 余名扬州市新闻传媒中心小记者带着满满的好奇心，来到世界运河历史文化城市合作组织（WCCO）秘书处。他们来自育才小学、育才实验、汶河小学、梅岭小学、江都实验小学等学校。WCCO实习生则化身讲解员，为大家带来了干货满满的大运河科普和SDG趣味互动课堂。

跟着讲解员的脚步，小记者们沉浸式解锁大运河的前世今生。从申遗路上的重重考验，到大运河跻身世界文化遗产的故事，再到扬州守护运河的各类实践，大家听得津津有味，不仅说出了大运河流经的一座座城市，还讲出了大运河沿线许多城市先后开展的大运河环境治理工作。随后，大家走进世界运河文化裸眼3D沉浸式展示馆，在震撼的光影画面之中，近距离感受世界运河的磅礴魅力。

为了让大家真切感受到“运河就在身边”，带队老师特意介绍了一处身边的文化宝藏——扬州育才小学旁的运河文化遗存龙头关。熟悉的地理位置、深厚的文化底蕴，让小记者们倍感亲切。梅岭小学的杨依林说：“今天来到这里才知道家门口的运河有多么深厚的历史，我作为一个小记者，希望以后能把这些知识告诉更多人。”

此次活动的重头戏当属超好玩的SDG趣味课堂。以“地球妈妈的美好愿望”为主题，小记者化身小小侦探，对照图片线索，解密对应的联合国17个可持续发展目标。现场气氛热烈，大家开动脑筋，争相举手抢答。孩子们的奇思妙想，时不时给大家带来惊喜。

“物尽其用的可持续发展目标，提醒我们要拒绝浪费，好好珍惜身边的每一样东西。”讲解员穿插分享了各个可持续发展目标背后的小知识，让晦涩的理论变得生动易懂，孩子们在轻松快乐的游戏氛围中，掌握了运河保护与可持续发展等多元知识。

课堂尾声，小记者们还拿起彩笔，把自己理解的可持续发展目标一笔一画落在纸上。“绿色出行，爱护地球”“气候行动”……孩子们通过稚嫩的笔触，在心里种下了守护地球、保护运河的小小种子。“今天才明白，大运河不只是家门口的河，更连接了世界。我以后也会尽自己所能，保护好运河。”育才小学的杨子慧说。

此次活动不仅是一次参观学习，更是一堂生动的实践课，让小记者们既读懂运河历史，又树立了绿色低碳的可持续发展理念。接下来，扬州市新闻传媒中心小记者还将与WCCO展开更加丰富多彩的实践活动，让孩子们以少年之力，践行可持续发展使命。

Grand Canal Media News (Dong Ming, Xu Rong) “Which cities does the China Grand Canal pass through?” “How can we implement sustainable development goals (SDGs) to protect the canal?” On the afternoon of August 24th, over 20 young reporters from Yangzhou City News Media Center came to the secretariat of the World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization (WCCO) filled with curiosity. They came from schools such as Yucai Primary School, Yucai Experimental School, Wenhe Primary School, Meiling Primary School, and Jiangdu Experimental Primary School. The interns from WCCO served as guides, providing informative information about the Great Canal and engaging interactive lessons on SDGs.

Following the guide’s instructions, the young reporters immersed themselves in learning about the past and present of the Grand Canal. They listened with great interest to stories about the various challenges faced during its efforts to be recognized as a World Heritage Site, as well as the efforts made by Yangzhou to protect the canal. They not only mentioned the cities along the canal, but also talked about the measures taken by many cities along the canal to improve the environment around it. Afterwards, they visited the immersive 3D display center for world canal culture. In the stunning visual experiences, they could truly feel the magnificent charm of the world’s canals.

In order to help everyone truly feel that “the canal is right beside us,” the instructor introduced a nearby cultural site – Longtouguan, a place related to canal culture near Yangzhou Yucai Primary School. The familiar location and rich cultural heritage made the young reporters feel very connected to this place. Yang Yilin from Meiling Primary School said, “Today, I learned how deeply historical the canal near my home is. As a young reporter, I hope to share this knowledge with more people in the future.”

The highlight of this event was the extremely fun SDG fun class. With the theme “The Good Wishes of Mother Earth”, the young reporters acted as little detectives, using the clues provided by the pictures to uncover the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The atmosphere at the event was lively; everyone used their brains and rushed to answer questions. The children’s creative ideas often brought surprises to everyone.

“The Sustainable Development Goals emphasize the importance of avoiding waste and cherishing everything around us.” The instructor shared some interesting facts related to each SDG goal, making complex theories easier to understand. In a fun and enjoyable environment, the children learned various knowledge about canal conservation and sustainable development.

At the end of the class, the young reporters also used colored pens to write down their understanding of sustainable development goals on paper, word by word. “Green transportation, protect the Earth” and “Climate action” – through their young hands, the children planted the seeds of protecting the earth and the canals in their hearts. “Only today did I realize that the Grand Canal is not just a river near our homes; it connects the world as well. In the future, I will do my best to protect the canal,” said Yang Zihui from Yucai Primary School.

This event was not just a visit and learning experience; it was also a valuable practical lesson. It helped the young reporters understand the history of the canal and foster an awareness of green and sustainable development. Next, the young reporters from Yangzhou News Media Center will engage in more diverse practical activities with WCCO, allowing the children to carry out the mission of sustainable development with the strength of youth.
