8月24日，重庆市2015—2016年龄段女子足球运动员封闭式集训在云阳县渝东北山地综合实训基地进入尾声。为期12天的集训中，在前女足国家队队员徐媛带领的教练组指导下，来自全市各区县的50名女足小将在体能、技术、战术意识和团队配合等方面取得明显进步。
