新华社东京8月23日电（记者李子越 陈泽安）据日本气象厅消息，日本北海道近海23日晚发生6.0级地震。
日本气象厅说，地震发生在当地时间23日22时45分（北京时间23日21时45分）左右，震中位于北纬41.8度、东经142.9度，震级为6.0级，震源深度约40公里。气象厅说无需担心此次地震会引发海啸。（完）
