8月18日，据路透社报道，周二公布的官方数据显示，英国截至6月三个月不含奖金工资增长3.5%，高于截至5月三个月3.4%的涨幅，且超出预期。此前受访Reuters的经济学家预计该工资涨幅为3.4%。此外，英国失业率保持稳定，维持在4.9%，而经济学家预期为4.8%。
