8月17日，据报道，谷歌母公司Alphabet计划在澳大利亚首次发行债券，拟募资约50亿澳元（约36亿美元），或发行4个期限的债券，其中最长期限可能达到20年，最早于当地时间8月18日公布初步发行指导价。Alphabet本月早些时候已在美国美元债市场发行250亿美元债券，今年以来还发行了瑞士法郎、英镑、欧元、加元和日元债券。
