据日本共同社8月16日报道，关于千叶县发生的暴雨，当地政府15日透露称，又确认了夷隅市一名70多岁男性死亡。共同社根据对该县和警方的采访进行的统计显示，包括正在调查相关性在内，有9人死亡，还有1人下落不明。受灾浸水的住宅达到1087栋，具体为室内地面以上浸水597栋、地面下浸水490栋。损坏增加到73栋。
