8月14日，有消费者于网络上反映：在寿司郎（广州番禺天河城店）消费时发现，邻桌小孩的脚直接跨过挡板踩在本桌水龙头上。同日，涉事门店店长告诉记者情况属实，事情发生后第一时间便建议顾客更换座位。还表示后续将会对桌板和水龙头进行消杀，并更换水龙头。
