哈登晒出二人合照并配文道：“Love you foo! Proud of you”（爱你兄弟！为你感到骄傲）。两人早年曾在雷霆和火箭共事，是亲密队友。
威少于北京时间8月12日宣布退役，结束18年NBA生涯。威少是NBA历史三双王，共有209次三双，还是2017年常规赛MVP，生涯场均20.9分8.0助攻6.9篮板，助攻总数排名历史第五。
