据悉，陈盈洁出生于新竹关西，拥有客家与泰雅族血统。18岁登台后，于1983年转战台语歌坛，代表作《风飞沙》创下百万销量纪录，另有《海海人生》《天涯找爱人》《破浪人生》等经典作品，被誉为台语天后。
