富国岛W酒店及万豪度假酒店坐落于越南富国岛南岸，是一处集奢华酒店、休闲娱乐于一体的综合性滨海度假项目。项目以叙事性建筑为手法，重新诠释海滨奢华体验，旨在打造一座具有地标意义的复合型目的地。

Th e W Hotel and Marriott Resort & Spa Phu Quoc development a luxury development located on the southern coast of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, conceived as a landmark mixed-use destination that reinterprets the coastal luxury experience through narrative-driven architecture.

作为太阳集团为2027年APEC会址区总体规划的重要组成部分，该项目占地70,000平方米，位于新兴的南富国岛行政与酒店区内，地块临海而建，经由填海造地而成。项目与具有标志性的会议展览中心、多功能剧院为邻，彼此呼应，共同构成这一区域的核心公共建筑群。W酒店及万豪度假酒店则作为其中的酒店与娱乐旗舰，不仅强化了整个片区的象征意义与文化内涵，同时承担着营造场所精神的重要角色。

Developed as part of Sun Group’s broader masterplan for the APEC 2027 precinct, the project occupies a reclaimed 70,000 sqm b eachfront site within the emerging South Phu Quoc civic and hospitality district, situated alongside the monumental Convention & Exhibition Centre and Multipurpose Theatre. In dialogue with these emerging civic landmarks, the W Ho tel and Marriott Resort & Spa Phu Quoc development emerges as the hospitality and entertainment anchor of the district, completing a larger composition rooted in symbolism, culture, and placemaking.

项目地块北倚Ra Da山，南面与西面皆朝向大海，既是一处都市地标，也是一座海岛度假胜地。两座酒店塔楼均由万豪国际集团运营，其中越南首家W酒店设有526间客房，万豪度假酒店设有826间客房。除此之外，项目还融入了精选零售、活动及娱乐场所，并配备了水疗康体中心、泳池、健身区、亲子游乐区等丰富的度假设施。整个项目并不止于功能层面的规划，更被精心打造为一种沉浸式体验的载体——建筑、景致、氛围与人的活动彼此交融，共同营造出与富国岛精神息息相关的难忘时刻。

F ramed by the Ra Da Mountain range to the north and the ocean to the south and west, the developm ent is envisioned as both an urban anchor and a destination resort. The programme integrates two luxury hotel towers operated by Marriott – with Marriott Resort & Spa housing 826 keys and Vietnam’s first W Hotel housing 526 keys – combining curated retail, event and entertainment venues, and a range of resort amenities including spa and wellness facilities, swimming pools, fitness spaces and family-oriented recreational areas. Beyond its functional programme, the developme nt is carefully curated as a catalyst for experiences – where architecture, landscape, atmosphere, and human interaction merge to create memorable moments connected to the spirit of Phu Quoc.

建筑的设计灵感源自东亚文化中“鱼跃龙门”的典故——讲述鲤鱼跃龙门、化身为龙的传说，寓意坚持、升华与繁荣。设计将这一神话意象放大至城市尺度，将两座塔楼比作两条从海岸线腾跃而起的巨龙，共同守护富国岛这颗“明珠”。这一隐喻贯穿项目始终，成为塑造建筑体量、材料质感与空间体验的核心叙事，使建筑不仅可观可赏，更能触动人心。

The architectural concept draws inspiration from the “Odyssey of the Dragon Kings”, a narrative found across East Asian cultures that tells of a carp transforming into a dragon – a symbol traditionally associated with perseverance, ascension and prosperity. Interpreting this mythological transformation at an urban scale, the design imagines the development as two dragons rising from the coastline to protect the “pearl” of Phu Quoc Island. This metaphor becomes the organising narrative that shapes the project’s massing, materiality and spatial experience, creating an architecture designed not only to be seen, but also emotionally felt by its users.

两 座酒店塔楼构成了项目的主体，也代表着“双龙”的具象化身。设计通过轻质玻璃纤维增强混凝土幕墙结合一体化立面灯光系统，构建出塔楼流畅而富有张力的造型，灯光强化了垂直向上的动势，呼应传说中飞升的主题。

Two hotel towers frame the development and act as the architectural embodiment of th e dragons. Their dynamic forms are articulated through a combination of lightweight glass-reinforced concrete (GRC) cladding and integrated façade lighting systems that accentuate vertical movement, evoking the sense of ascension embedded within the legend.

入夜之后，立面灯光进一步彰显塔楼的轮廓与气势，使建筑在夜空中熠熠生辉，将神话氛围延续至深夜。而在人的尺度上，塔楼通过光影交错、水面倒影以及面向大海与周边景观的框景设计，呈现出不断变幻的空间感受，让住客时刻沉浸于度假村流动变化的空间氛围之中。

The façade lighting strategy further enhances the visual identity of the towers after sunset, allowing the forms to animate the skyline and reinforce the mythological narrative at night. At a human scale, the towers are conceived to create constantly changing experiences through light, shadow, reflections, and framed views toward the sea and surrounding landscape, allowing guests to feel immersed within the evolving atmosphere of the resort.

项目的核心亮点在于双塔之间的“明珠”——它既是视觉焦点，也是精神坐标。它的形体结构采用网格壳体设计，外覆幻彩玻璃，能够根据一天中不同时段的光线角度折射出变幻的色彩。而裙楼立面上的穿孔铝板则塑造出水波涟漪的流动感，呼应双龙自海中跃起的意象。

At the heart of the project sits the “pearl” – a central architectural feature conceived as a luminous spatial anchor within the development. This element is realised through a grid-shell structure clad in dichroic glass, whose surface refracts and shifts colour according to changing light conditions throughout the day. Along the Podium faces, perforated aluminium panels are utilised to accentuate the fluidity of coastal rippling waves, where the dragons emerge from sea.

“明珠”内部规划为康养与静修之所，是身体、心灵与海水交融的空间，提供与海洋韵律和感官体验深度相连的沉浸式水疗服务。结构、透明感与光影反射交织在一起，使该空间成为一场永不落幕的视觉与感官盛宴，也进一步强化了“明珠”在整个项目中的核心象征。

The “pearl” is envisioned as a sanctuary of wellness and introspection - a space where body, soul, and water come together through immersive spa experiences deeply connected to the rhythms and sensory atmosphere of the sea. The interplay between structure, transparency and reflection transforms the space into a constantly evolving visual and experiential spectacle, reinforcing the symbolic presence of the pearl within the broader composition – the focal point of the project.

另一处极具辨识度的设计，是沿场地西南侧向海滨方向延伸的悬挑大顶棚。顶棚采用珠光质感金属面板，能映射出海天之间的色彩变幻，沿滨海岸线形成一道不断流动的风景线。

Another defining feature is the dramatic cantilevered canopy that extends toward the beachfront along the southwest edge of the site. Clad in pearlescent metal panels, the canopy reflects the shifting colours of the sea and sky, creating a constantly changing visual presence along the waterfront.

宽阔的顶棚下方，是一处遮阴避雨的公共空间，供人们在此小憩、相聚、放松，与海岸亲密接触，同时可以远眺大海，尽享富国岛闻名遐迩的日落美景。

Beneath this expansive structure, visitors are provided with a sheltered public space that encourages moments of pause, gathering, relaxation, and connection between people and the coastline – framed by views toward the ocean to experience Phu Quoc’s celebrated sunsets.

整体项目在材料的选用上独具匠心。“明珠”水疗中心采用幻彩玻璃，营造出随时间流转而变换色调的内部光影效果，提升空间的感官体验；南侧中庭顶棚则采用带有可变色涂层的几何金属面板，随光照角度变化呈现微妙色彩过渡；

Materials play a critical role in articulating the project’s identity. Dichroic pearlescent vision glass is used within the Pearl Spa to create luminous interiors that shift in tone throughout the day, enhancing the sensory qualities of the space. Similarly, geometric metal panels finished with chameleon coatings are applied across the south atrium canopy, producing subtle colour transitions as light conditions change.

部分外立面使用的穿孔铝板，仿若波光粼粼的水面，使建筑表皮呈现出海浪般的流动质感。光影流转、海风拂面、倒影摇曳、材质温润，种种设计元素融为一体，共同构筑出丰富的感官层次，加深了访客与这片土地之间的情感联结。

Perforated aluminium panels are deployed across portions of the façade to evoke the movement of rippling water, creating a layered envelope that captures the fluidity of the surrounding seascape. Together with the rhythm of light and shadow, sea breeze, reflections, and material tactility, these elements create a layered sensory experience that strengthens the emotional connection between visitors and place.
