据外媒报道，2024 年诺贝尔化学奖得主 Demis Hassabis（戴米斯 · 哈萨比斯）在 Alphabet 近期人工智能领域高管大变动前曾有意离开这家企业。
Alphabet 当地时间本月 5 日宣布哈萨比斯从 Google DeepMind 首席执行官转任董事长并兼任 Alphabet 首席科学家，原 Alphabet 首席科学家 Jeff Dean 与多位同事出走创办 Discovery Loop。
消息人士透露称，哈萨比斯本想与 Jeff Dean 同步离职，但 Alphabet 认为短时间内失去两位人工智能业务领袖会导致股价崩盘。
哈萨比斯最终被说服转任 Google Deepmind 董事长，这使得其能将更多精力用于 Isomorphic Labs 等人工智能科学探索项目，并为后续可能的离职创造一条更为平缓的过渡路径。
