受今年第13号台风“白海豚”影响，杭嘉湖东部平原累计降雨量104.8毫米。
8月9日20时40分，运河水系嘉兴站水位涨至2.00米，达到洪水编号标准，运河水系发生今年第1场编号洪水（杭嘉湖平原2026年第1号洪水<0809>），气象预报未来24小时仍有集中降雨，结合水利工程调度，预报嘉兴站水位仍将上涨。
