8月1日，市领导调研我市集成电路产业部分重点企业，强调要深入学习贯彻中央政治局会议精神和习近平总书记对江苏工作重要讲话精神，按照省委省政府部署和市委工作要求，进一步坚定信心、把握机遇，巩固“芯”优势、抢拓新赛道，全力做优做强集成电路地标产业，为推动经济持续向新向优向好发展注入强劲动能。

City leaders in Wuxi visited key integrated circuit enterprises on Aug 1, calling for greater confidence, stronger innovation and faster expansion into emerging sectors. By consolidating its strengths in the IC industry, the city aims to build a world-class semiconductor cluster and inject fresh momentum into high-quality economic growth.

8月5日，无锡特殊食品与营养健康研究院与澳优乳业（中国）有限公司战略合作签约活动举行。此次签约，澳优乳业、特食院双方将基于优势互补、价值共创的原则，从能力嫁接、生态构建、效益提升三个层面展开深度合作。特食院将深度参与原料供应与技术支持，助力企业提升产品科技含量与差异化竞争力，澳优乳业将主导规模化生产与销售，通过自身规模化产能和现有渠道将产品迅速铺向全国市场。这一精准对接将有效扩大特食院创新成果的市场覆盖面与影响力，加速高品质益生菌等产品走向更广阔的消费市场。

The Wuxi Institute for Special Foods and Health (WISH) and Ausnutria, a dairy enterprise, signed a cooperation agreement on Aug 5. Combining the institute's R&D expertise with the company's manufacturing and distribution strengths, the partnership will accelerate the commercialization of innovative products, including high-quality probiotics, and bring them to consumers across China.

8月5日，江苏容导半导体科技有限公司新址竣工活动举行。2022年，容导半导体启动实施江苏容导半导体电子材料高纯储运装备项目，项目总投资5.2亿元，新增固定资产投资4亿元，新建约4万平方米工业厂房。目前，项目主体建筑及内部洁净室等已完成装修，设备搬入调试中，预计2026年三季度正式投入运营。项目达产后，预计实现半导体电子材料高纯储运装备年产能5万件，实现年销售额超10亿元。

Jiangsu Leadchem Semiconductor Technology celebrated the completion of its new facility on Aug 5. Backed by a total investment of 520 million yuan ($77.05 million), the 40,000-square-meter factory is expected to begin operations in Q3. Once fully operational, it will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 units of high-purity storage and transport equipment for semiconductor materials, with projected annual sales exceeding 1 billion yuan.

8月4日，区安委会全体（扩大）会议召开，深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于安全生产的重要论述和重要指示批示精神，认真落实全国安全生产视频会议精神，以及省安委会全体（扩大）会议和市安委会全体（扩大）会议部署要求，总结上半年安全生产工作，分析形势问题，部署当前和下一阶段重点任务，有效防范化解重大安全风险，推动全区安全生产形势持续稳定向好。

WND convened an enlarged meeting of its safe production committee on Aug 4 to review workplace safety performance in the first half of the year and outline priorities for the months ahead. The district will continue strengthening risk prevention and control to ensure a safer and more stable environment for high-quality development.

8月5日，北京大学长三角未来技术生命健康研究院第一届管理委员会第四次会议在无锡高新区召开。会议审议通过了研究院院长聘任议案，聘任朱怀球为新任院长。会议审议通过了研究院平台公司调整方案、研究院2025年工作报告、2026年工作计划及财务预算、研究院运营管理制度、在孵项目建设推进方案等议题事项。

The fourth meeting of the first Management Committee of the Peking University Yangtze River Delta Institute of Future Technology for Life and Health was held in WND on Aug 5. The committee appointed Zhu Huaiqiu as the institute's new president and approved key initiatives covering operational planning, projects under incubation and the institute's development roadmap.

无锡高新区科创产业发展集团有限公司近日在上海证券交易所成功发行“2026年面向专业投资者非公开发行科技创新公司债券（用于Token算力工厂）”。本期债券系全国首单用于Token算力工厂科技创新公司债券，开创了资本市场赋能AI算力Token新赛道的融资先河。本期债券发行规模6亿元，市场认购热情高涨，全场认购倍数达3.1倍，票面利率低至2.03%，有效降低了企业综合融资成本。

A national first! WND Sci-Tech Innovation Group has issued China's first corporate bond dedicated to a Token-powered AI computing infrastructure on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The bond, valued at 600 million yuan ($88.78 million), was oversubscribed by 3.1 times and features a low coupon rate of just 2.03%, pioneering a new financing model that channels capital market support into the Token economy.

8月7日，卡特彼勒研发五期研发楼竣工启用活动在无锡高新区卡特彼勒中国技术研发中心举行。卡特彼勒深耕无锡高新区二十多载，已形成涵盖中国研发中心、零部件制造工厂、发动机工厂及贸易公司在内的多元化综合业务布局，此次竣工启用的五期研发楼为一栋两层生产研发综合设施，集研发实验室与科研人员办公场所于一体。投用后，将聚焦工程机械和能源动力领域关键技术研发，进一步增强中国研发中心在卡特彼勒全球创新体系中的战略能级，为无锡高新区高端装备制造产业向数字化、智能化、绿色化升级注入新动能。

Caterpillar opened the Phase V expansion of its China R&D Center in WND on Aug 7. The new two-story facility, combining laboratories and offices, will support research in construction equipment and power systems, further strengthening Caterpillar China's role in the company's global innovation network while supporting WND's manufacturing upgrade. After more than two decades of growth, Caterpillar now operates an integrated business spanning R&D, component manufacturing, engine production and trading in the district.

2026年7月，美国旧金山Moscone中心，AMD Advancing AI 2026全球开发者大会现场，近千名开发者正在同步进行智能体AI、多模态应用、生成式AI、GPU编程和AI应用开发实操。让人想不到的是，他们使用的全部算力，并不来自美国本地机房，而是来自一万公里外——无锡高新区企业构建的一座智算机房里，它就是新威智算千卡集群。

At AMD Advancing AI 2026, held in San Francisco this July, nearly 1,000 developers simultaneously ran hands-on AI workloads spanning intelligent agents, multimodal applications, generative AI and GPU programming. The computing power behind every session came from New Power AI's computing cluster in WND more than 10,000 kilometers away.

An AI-generated micro-drama, custom-developed for maternal and baby skincare brand Dexter, has concluded its exclusive run on Taobao with outstanding results. In just two months, it surpassed 100 million views, generated 45+ million product page views, nearly 60,000 interactions, and ranked among the platform's top-performing branded AI micro-dramas for traffic conversion and sales.
