新华社马尼拉8月5日电（记者李萌 赵晨捷）菲律宾火山地震研究所5日发布消息说，该国棉兰老岛以南海域当地时间5日12时14分许（北京时间12时14分许）发生6.4级地震，震源深度13公里，棉兰老岛部分地区有震感。该研究所说，暂未监测到海啸威胁。
菲律宾位于环太平洋火山地震带，地震频发。（完）
