据最新消息，中国地震台网正式测定：
08月04日15时21分，在广东汕尾市海丰县（北纬23.04度，东经115.42度）发生2.9级地震，震源深度10千米。
震中地形：震中5公里范围内平均海拔约14米。
历史地震：根据中国地震台网速报目录，震中周边200公里内近5年来发生3级以上地震共13次，最大地震是2023年3月8日在广东河源市东源县发生的4.5级地震（距离本次震中128公里），历史地震分布如图：
