据广州日报报道，今年7月，广州雨日多达24天，较近十年均值17天偏多了整整一周，打破1951年以来7月雨日最高纪录。从最新预报看，7月多雨的势头将要延续到8月，未来一周天天有雨，下周五起雨势有望减弱。
粤TV报道，据广州天气，8月1-3日，受季风低槽影响，雨势加强，有大雨局部暴雨。8月4-6日，受偏南气流辐合影响，雷雨仍频繁。提醒出门留意天气预报，避免前往山区等地质灾害易发地带。
