据《南通日报》报道，作为国家“十四五”重点过江通道项目，张靖皋长江大桥目前累计完成投资173亿元，占批复概算311亿元的55.6%，整体建设进度已过半。
张靖皋长江大桥连接苏州张家港、泰州靖江和南通如皋三市，是目前在建的世界最大跨径悬索桥，建成后将极大地促进长三角区域一体化发展。
