7月26日，广东惠州海滩在台风过后惊现大量金鲳鱼，市民纷纷“自助打包”。当事人李女士称，开车经过看到有人兴奋地跑下沙滩，跟着去发现好多金鲳鱼被台风打上岸，捡了100多斤。“好兴奋，昨天晚上睡都睡不着，因为太开心了！吃又吃不了多少，就回来全部送人了。”
