7月以来，云南省建水县旅游市场持续升温，米轨小火车成为热门文旅项目，吸引了各地游客，截至7月23日，共接待乘车游客15177人次，环比增加45.4%。当地还推出“米轨夏日晚茶”、民俗展演等系列活动，丰富旅游业态，提升游客感受。
