“粤车南下”政策持续扩容，自7月25日零时起，深圳、佛山、东莞、惠州、肇庆纳入试点，加上此前广州、珠海、江门、中山，试点城市增至9个。同时，入境香港市区每日预约名额由100辆提升至200辆。
据港珠澳大桥边检站统计，自政策实施以来，截至7月25日24时，经边检备案司机数量已超过1.3万人，经口岸出入境“粤车南下”车辆总量已超2万辆次。
