观点网讯：7月22日，澳大利亚北领地政府在一份声明中表示，已向Beetaloo Energy Australia Ltd.旗下子公司Beetaloo Digital Pty Ltd.授予185公顷（457英亩）土地，用于建设两座超大规模人工智能数据中心园区。
该项目预计可吸引400亿澳元（280亿美元）的私人投资。
该公司计划为这些数据中心建设总装机容量高达2吉瓦的发电设施，燃料来自大型页岩气矿藏。该气田预计将于今年开始商业化生产。
