伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队海军19日发表声明称，数小时前，4艘船只关闭导航系统、无视伊方管控基地警告，试图经过“不安全航道”驶离霍尔木兹海峡。其中两艘发生事故并停在原地，另外两艘放弃继续航行。
声明称，革命卫队海军目前“完全控制”霍尔木兹海峡，船只只能通过伊方指定的安全航道通行；石油、天然气及化肥运输船未经伊方协调和许可不得通过该海峡。
