7月16日，2026年全国乒乓球锦标赛双打比赛在湖南长沙展开正赛争夺。王楚钦/孙颖莎在混双首轮中以3∶0击败周锦泉/祝启慧，晋级16强。
中国乒协今年首次将全国锦标赛双打比赛列为单独一站比赛进行，12月再举行团体和单打比赛。在洛杉矶奥运会增加双打项目的大背景下，结合亚运会备战需要，本次全锦赛可以跨省份组队。
