问：《森林法》第五十六第二款的“房前屋后”的范围应如何确定？
省林业局回复： 《森林法》第五十六条第二款规定，农村居民采伐自留地和房前屋后个人所有的零星林木，不需要申请采伐许可证。条款中“房前屋后”仅指农村宅基地范围内。
