7月14日，财闻海外资讯消息，韩国财政部周二表示，随着主要芯片和造船企业开始在远期市场大量出售美元，韩国的汇市状况正在改善。该部门在一份声明中表示：“基于创纪录的贸易顺差等强劲基本面，预计外汇市场在下半年将出现供需条件的结构性变化。”
周二，韩元兑美元汇率上涨了0.75%，达到1486.30，创下自5月12日以来的最高水平。
