美军中央司令部于伊朗时间今天（7月13日）凌晨零点30分对伊朗南部多地发起新一轮打击。据美国有线电视新闻网报道，美军中央司令部发言人称，在美军发起袭击前一小时内，“伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队向途经霍尔木兹海峡的商船开火”。伊朗方面对这一报道暂无回应。
美国东部时间7月12日下午，美国总统特朗普在接受路透社电话采访时称：“我们正在狠狠打击他们（伊朗）。”
