北京时间7月11日，据巴西媒体《环球体育》消息，纽卡有意博塔弗戈中场达尼洛，将其视为吉马良斯替代者。
据报道，纽卡斯尔联队已向博塔弗戈俱乐部询问签下达尼洛-桑托斯的可能性，并将这位中场球员视为吉马良斯离队后的首选替代者。
据此前消息，阿森纳有意引进吉马良斯。
达尼洛-桑托斯也入选了巴西参加世界杯的大名单，代表球队替补出场4次。
