7月9日，美光科技宣布计划投资至多30亿美元，旨在加强美国半导体供应链生态系统。
美光表示，将向环球晶圆提供5亿美元战略融资支持，以推动其美国得州谢尔曼硅晶圆工厂的开发与制造能力建设。双方还将签署一份为期10年的供应协议，美光将借此获得大量硅晶圆产能。
