当地时间7月8日，正在土耳其安卡拉参加北约峰会的意大利总理梅洛尼在接受媒体采访时表示，自己没有放弃与伊朗谈判的可能性，军事行动并没有具体的成果。梅洛尼同时表示，意大利之前没有参与打击伊朗，现在不会参加，未来也不会参加对伊朗的打击。
