北京时间6月30日，据ESPN名记Shams报道，沙梅特签下一份4年2400万美元的合同，重返尼克斯。
Shams表示：“消息人士告诉ESPN，自由球员后卫兰德里-沙梅特有意签下一份新的四年2400万美元合同，重返纽约尼克斯队。沙梅特的经纪人、GSL体育集团的乔治-兰伯格周一与尼克斯高管会面，敲定了这份长期合同。”
上赛季常规赛，沙梅特场均可以得到9.3分1.8篮板1.4助攻。
