北京时间6月27日晚，中超联赛第16轮角逐，成都蓉城客场3-2绝杀深圳新鹏城。比赛进行期间，成都市体育局官方社媒账号“运动成都”发布此役周定洋铲倒韦世豪的视频，配文写着：“老队长爆铲新队长，周定洋上头了！”
2025赛季结束后，周定洋离开成都蓉城俱乐部，自由身加盟深圳新鹏城俱乐部。本场面对旧主，周定洋打进1球。
