6月24日上午，国产大飞机C919首次飞抵延安。这架C919飞机当天执行CA1279航班首航北京首都至延安，与正好执行CA2759成都天府至延安航班的C909飞机历史性的在南泥湾机场同框出现。
国航于6月15日刚刚开通由C909飞机执飞的成都天府至延安航线，仅过去9天，又使用C919飞机开航延安。作为国内少数几家同时拥有C909和C919飞机的航司，国航正在用国产商用飞机连通更多红色航点。
