微软6月23日宣布，在美国威斯康星州芒特普莱森特的首座数据中心已全面投运，此前该数据中心于今年4月完成设备上线和启动工作。
声明称，目前该数据中心拥有近550名全职员工。微软及其承包商正积极招聘，预计员工人数将持续增长。
微软预计，2024年至2028年间，公司将在威斯康星州的超大规模建设项目中投入47亿美元。
