当地时间6月21日，美伊谈判于瑞士比尔根山举行。在开场致辞中，美国副总统万斯表示，此次谈判希望永久性地改变中东关系，并称如果伊朗愿意永久性放弃核武器，不再成为地区不稳定因素，美国会根本性改变与伊朗的关系。
