总台记者获悉，菲律宾国家减灾委称，截至6月18日上午，菲南部棉兰老岛附近海域8日发生的强震已导致78人死亡，仍有30人失踪，超过140万人受灾。
据中国地震台网测定，北京时间6月8日7时37分菲律宾棉兰老岛海域发生7.9级地震，震源深度40千米（菲火山地震研究所报：震级7.8级，震源深度33公里）。（总台记者 黄铮铮）
