据每日经济新闻6月2日报道，6月1日，莲花集团CEO冯擎峰在接受媒体采访时表示，对跑车而言，过重的车身是对品牌核心价值的背离。“不管它马力多大，哪怕是2000匹马力，只要重量超过1.8吨，就是菜车。”冯擎峰直言，“我们看到一些竞争对手，跑车甚至做到了两吨，不可思议，说明它们对跑车是没有理解的。”
